1.) Go through Chapter 2 Maya Basics, lessons 1 and 2 of the Maya Tutorial Guide (pages 33-66). Here you will learn how to do the following:
navigate the Maya interface
access your objects in the Maya scene graph
use the Maya polygon and NURBS modeling tools
2.) Create your own 3D model using polygons or NURBS patches and show it to me when you are done. Your model must use all three boolean opeations: union, intersection, and difference.
Union: Region belonging to one or both polygons
Intersection: Region belonging to both polygons
Difference: Region belonging to first but not second polygon
